The Ultrasphere 4.5 also has a low-profile two-way valve and a super-useful pump sack, so it’s quick and easy to inflate when you’re ready to hunker down. There’s a repair kit thrown in too, which is always a bonus.
Constructed using 20D recycled polyester outer fabric finished with a fluorocarbon-free DWR, the Ultrasphere 4.5 is better for the environment too. Super comfortable and warm – no more sore hip bones! Lightweight and packs small. I found that it slipped around on the floor of my tent so I have bought a length of ‘drawer liner’ from Para Rubber to put under the mat. I am yet to test it in the field, but a trial run in my lounge worked 👍
