Kiwi Ultralight quilts are made in New Zealand and filled with ethically sourced goose down of the highest quality. This is not a sleeping bag, it’s the next step up in outdoor sleep systems allowing you to recreate the comfort of your bed while hiking. Quilts are open on the underside and designed to be attached to a sleeping pad or hut mattress using the included pad straps. Quilts have the advantage of being lighter than a sleeping bag of the same comfort rating (given that compressed down provides no insulation). Additionally, unlike most other companies, Kiwi Ultralight quilts are labeled by comfort rating rather than limit or extreme rating, so you’re certain to be warm at the temperature listed.
