Enlightened Equipments Revelation Quilt 0°F / -17°C is a favorite sleeping bags/quilt for lightweight backpacking adventurers and long distance hikers. known for its amazing versatility, flexible design, and for it’s best warmth-to-weight ratio and amazing compressibility. On warm nights, when completely un-cinched it can lay open as a blanket and in colder temperatures, when you want to increase warmth you can zip up the ¼ length zipper and use the drawcords to cinch close the footbox. It’ll create a fully enclosed footbox, similar to a sleeping bag. This keeps out drafts, and ensures that your feet stay toasty warm! This design allows you to dial in a comfortable night’s sleep in a wide range of different temperatures and climates.
The temperature ratings for quilts given by Enlightened Equipment are limit temperatures that correspond to the EN / ISO standards. The comfort temperature is approximately 5°C / 10°F above the limit temperature.

- Footbox has a 51 cm / 20” zipper and shock cord combination for a totally adjustable closure
- Included pad attachment system uses elastic straps and clips on each side of the quilt to keep it secure on a sleeping pad and lock out drafts on cold nights.
- Snap and drawcord neck closure lets you fine-tune draft control.
- Unique U-shaped continuous baffles keep the down where you need it, all night long.
- Includes Silnylon Stuff Sack (.3oz-.8oz), 100% cotton storage bag, and 2 Elastic Straps (0.4oz each – One Straight, One Loop).
- Colour: Navy/Charcoal

The best sleep I have ever had whilst tramping. I’d never go back to a sleeping bag. I was sleeping below freezing and it I was still too hot to have every thing cinched up on the quilt. Light weight and stuffs down to an expectable size.

I tried the quilt alternative to sleeping bags with this purchase. Camped 2 nights hunting in the Pureora’s where it reached -5. I was super warm and enjoyed the more open feel than a bag while still toasty. Highly recommend these quilts.
The negative: for the money and level of equipment, these should come with a compression bag.- And not have to go make a separate purchase. With out it doing that, it took up the whole lower section of my pack that usually accommodates a bag, mat and liner and pillow.
