Its white or red, continuous 50-lumen lighting or strobe lighting helps you to be seen. The whistle integrated in the elastic headband allows the user to signal an emergency. This light is destined for the daypack as it weighs nothing and it’s good to know it’ll be there “just in case”. The beam doesn’t extend far but the light coverage is pretty wide so it’ll get you off the hill so long as you’re not in a hurry.
