The patented Rainbow is the solo version of Tarptent’s most popular shelter, the Double Rainbow, and includes the same special features. We haven’t encountered a solo shelter with more useable space on the market! An exceptional balance of strength, spaciousness, and value, the Rainbow is ideal for people who want a light tent with a large living space. The Rainbow is easy to setup, can be converted to freestanding with trekking poles, and can fit two standard width sleeping pads.

Updated for 2024 with sag-free sil-poly fabric. Please note that the sil-poly version may have discoloration of the arch sleeve. See pics.

Add a Liner here. Lightweight clip-in liner adds warmth in winter or cooling in summer. Also protects against condensation.

Add a Gear Loft Here. Great for phone, headlamp and other gear.

Seams aren’t sealed. We recommend to use Gear Aid Seam Grip SIL seam sealer to achieve complete waterproofness or Choose Seam Sealed in options if you wish to use our Seam Sealing Service.
