I’m becoming a kiwi camping convert. Two entry and exits, ground sheet in the vestibule for gear – annoying / extra child 😉 , heaps of space comfortably 3 with gear or 4 if you’re keeping your stuff in the car. Great ventilation options, – passed the hose test and always windy where I test pitched it and very sturdy. However the biggest thing is this tent has been life changing for our family. My wife is in a wheelchair and we’ve tried so many tents including the ridiculously big 6-8 person ones, that just mean I spend the whole time putting it up and taking it down! For the first time we’ve found a reasonable weight tent that works perfectly for the wheelchair! Took about half an hour to pitch for the first time (I reckon 10 minutes if you have two pairs of hands and you’re used to it) and is a sturdy and good quality tent at a ridiculously low price. Again the pegs – pet peve with the pegs that come as default with these tents. The peg bag was also nearly 1kg alone. Also Mapua Leisure Park is completely accessible camp ground so these two combined opens up a normally either hard or not available kiwi right to everyone.
