A heavier more robust alternative to the polycro I use in most situations, I’m happy enough with the Tyvek for the situations where I’ll use it. It’s crazy stiff and crisp straight out of the packet however, and putting it through the washing machine to soften per the instructions really doesn’t seem to change that. In the end I just started wadding it up and working it with my hands and that has made it a lot more pliable and less of a crinkle-fest. I think it’ll break in nicely with just a bit more time and use.

Very light and softened well after machine washing. It pays to keep it scrunched for a while and then roll it tightly in for storage.

Not sure if I’ll use this very regularly yet, as is a bit crackle, and hasn’t softened up as much as I hoped with washing. Will give it a go though
