The sleeping bag is rugged and well made – in use it is warm and fits my (180cm) frame well. The fabric is smooth to the skin, and so far it has proven tough. The fabric lofts quickly and it fits inside my bivvy well.
Persons who don’t like to feel constrained might not like the mummy shape, but personally I find it comforting and comfortable.
The bag is a lot bigger than similarly performing down bags, but the trade-off is obviously that it can get wet and still work to keep you warm. This is New Zealand, and accidents happen, so for me this is more than worth it.
