The waterproof ORTLIEB Handlebar-Pack is an indispensable item when you’re on a bikepacking tour in the great outdoors. With a length of only 40 cm, the waterproof Small 9L handlebar roll is the right selection for bikepackers with off-road drop bars, road-bike handlebars or hybrid-bike handlebars. Although this handlebar roll has a narrow width and is especially lightweight, it offers a payload of 9 liters, which means it gives you ample space for large-volume, but lightweight items such as sleeping bags and sleeping pads. Moreover, the Handlebar-Pack comes with four hooks to enable the attachment of an ORTLIEB Accessory-Pack for additional stowage space. The roll closures on both sides enable quick and convenient access while reliably keeping your stuff dry even in the pouring rain.

Fiddly around cables and you really need wide bars to make the most of it.

Works really well and is certainly waterproof. Tried on drop bar gravel bike and flat bar hardtail. Very secure on both.
Be good if the release valve was on top and the head-tube strap was a bit longer.
Have the accessory pouch that clips onto this bag and highly recommend that too.
